Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mould Maintenance role located in Chennai. The role involves performing routine and scheduled maintenance on moulds used in manufacturing, including cleaning, inspection, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. The specialist will diagnose issues, conduct troubleshooting, and coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime and support smooth production.

Daily tasks include documenting maintenance activities, following safety and quality procedures, collaborating with production and engineering teams, and supporting preventive maintenance programs. The role may also require assisting in mould changeovers,



maintaining tools and spare parts inventory, and suggesting improvements to mould performance and maintenance practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduling and execution of routine mould servicing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair, focusing on mould components and related tooling.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving mechanical or process issues with moulds.
- Relevant experience in mould maintenance within manufacturing or plastics/injection molding environments is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use measuring instruments, and operate standard workshop tools safely.
- Knowledge of safety standards, quality procedures, and basic root cause analysis methods.
- Minimum of a vocational diploma/ITI or equivalent in Mechanical, Tool & Die, or related field; prior experience in industrial maintenance is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work in shifts if required, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
