JD for Motion graphic designer

We are looking for a creative and visually driven Motion Graphic Designer with professional experience in the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, entertainment content, audience engagement and current digital trends.

The Motion Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and creating engaging motion graphics, animations and visual content for various projects. The role will involve working closely with the creative and video teams to develop visually compelling content for brands, campaigns, films and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and create high-quality motion graphics, animations and visual content for digital, social media, video and brand communication.
- Develop engaging visual narratives and motion concepts based on creative briefs.
- Create motion graphics for films, entertainment content, promotional videos, reels, campaigns and branded content.
- Work on title animations, transitions, typography, visual effects and compositing.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Editors, Videographers and other members of the creative team.
- Translate creative concepts and storyboards into compelling motion design.
- Contribute to brainstorming and creative development from concept to final execution.
- Adapt visual content for different platforms, formats and screen sizes.




- Stay updated on motion design trends, entertainment content, visual styles and emerging creative technologies.
- Explore and incorporate AI-powered tools into motion design and creative workflows where relevant.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

- Professional experience in the entertainment industry is mandatory.
- Experience in film, OTT, television, production houses, entertainment marketing, digital entertainment or related creative environments will be preferred.
- Strong skills in Motion Design, Motion Graphics and Visual Storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, composition, transitions and visual effects.
- Experience in video production and the ability to work with existing footage and visual assets.
- Ability to develop creative ideas and translate them into visually engaging motion content.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Higgsfield, Freepik, Grok, ElevenLabs or similar creative AI platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social media formats and digital content.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.
- A robust portfolio/showreel demonstrating motion graphics, animation and entertainment-related work is required.
