Job Responsibilities

Handle the assigned primary class and take responsibility for the overall academic and personal development of students.

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons as per the school curriculum.

Teach assigned subjects and ensure effective classroom learning.

Create a positive, safe, and supportive classroom workplace.

Monitor students’ academic progress, behaviour, participation, and attendance.

Conduct assessments, maintain student records, and provide regular feedback.

Identify students who need additional academic or behavioural support and coordinate with the concerned team.

Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ progress, concerns, and school activities.

Coordinate with subject teachers, coordinators, and other staff for the smooth functioning of the class.

Organize classroom activities, projects, celebrations, and co-curricular activities.

Encourage students to develop good habits, discipline,



confidence, communication skills, and social values.

Maintain proper classroom documentation and complete academic work within timelines.

Participate in staff meetings, training programmes, school events, and other assigned duties.

Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the relevant field.

B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.

Prior experience in a primary school/CBSE curriculum is preferred.

Good communication and classroom management skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and a child-friendly approach.

Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school management.

Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
