Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Moodle Developer (3–5 years) with good communication who is excited to work in a high-growth startup environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Moodle architecture, plugin development, theme customisation, integrations, and performance optimisation. You will work closely with our product and design teams to build scalable, intuitive, and modern LMS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Moodle Development & Customisation

- Develop, customise, and maintain Moodle-based LMS solutions.
- Create and modify Moodle plugins, modules, themes, and blocks.
- Implement custom features, workflows, and UI enhancements aligned with product needs.

Technical Delivery

- Configure, deploy, and manage Moodle instances on cloud/on-prem environments.
- Optimise performance, security, and scalability of Moodle platforms.
- Integrate Moodle with third-party systems (HRMS, SSO, payment gateways, analytics tools, etc.)

Product Collaboration

- Work with cross-functional teams (Product, UI/UX, QA, Content) to deliver seamless learning experiences.
- Translate business and learning requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure high-quality code, documentation, and version control (GIT).

Quality & Support





- Resolve bugs, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to development best practices.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support to internal teams and clients.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Moodle development.
- Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3.
- Solid understanding of Moodle architecture, database schema, APIs, and web services.
- Experience with plugin development, theme customisation, and REST integrations.
- Familiarity with Linux servers, Apache/Nginx, and cloud platforms.
- Experience working in agile, quick-paced product environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take end-to-end ownership.

Positive to Have

- Experience with EdTech products, SCORM/xAPI, or adaptive learning systems.
- Knowledge of mobile responsive design and modern UI frameworks.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or AWS/Azure.
- Understanding of user workflows for LMS (students, faculty, administrators).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
