Job Overview

V2 Retail Limited is seeking a detail-oriented MIS Head to own end-to-end reporting and data analytics for its Distribution Centre. The role holder will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards and reports covering inbound/outbound logistics, inventory, quality, and cost metrics, enabling DC leadership and Head Office to make timely, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards covering DC operations inbound receipts, dispatch, inventory, quality, and logistics KPIs.
- Consolidate data from WMS, ERP, and other operational systems to provide a single source of truth for DC performance metrics.
- Track and report key operational KPIs including OTIF, dispatch accuracy, inventory accuracy, rejection rates, and cost-per-unit metrics.
- Partner with department heads (Logistics, Quality, Accounts, Administration, Loss Prevention)



to define reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities from operational data and present actionable insights to DC leadership.
- Automate recurring reports using Excel/Power BI or similar tools to reduce manual reporting effort and turnaround time.
- Maintain data integrity and version control across all MIS reports; ensure timely and accurate report distribution to stakeholders.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis for Head Office and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure data security and access control for sensitive operational and financial data.
- Continuously improve MIS processes and reporting formats based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs.

Key Skills & Requirements

- 610 years of experience in MIS, reporting, or business analytics roles, ideally within retail or warehouse/supply chain operations.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and familiarity with visualization tools.
- Experience working with WMS/ERP systems for data extraction and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate raw data into actionable business insights.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
- Positive communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and prioritize effectively.
