We are looking for an experienced Middleware Administrator to work in a shared support model, responsible for installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and smooth functioning of client middleware environments.
The candidate will work closely with application/infrastructure teams and OEM/vendors to resolve technical issues, perform root cause analysis and support BAU and implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and administer middleware products and client middleware instances.
- Ensure proper functioning, availability and stability of middleware environments.
- Perform BAU and implementation activities across middleware technologies.
- Administer and troubleshoot application servers and web servers.
- Work on Oracle Enterprise Fusion Middleware and Oracle WebLogic Application Server.
- Manage and troubleshoot JBoss EAP, WildFly and Apache Tomcat environments.
- Work with Apache Web Server and Nginx.
- Perform incident troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis.
- Coordinate with OEM/vendor teams for issue resolution.
- Perform middleware configuration, deployment and maintenance activities.
- Use Linux commands and Shell scripting for administration and troubleshooting.
- Work with middleware technologies such as Kafka, Solr, ZooKeeper and Hazelcast.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Work in rotational shifts as required.
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with JBoss EAP / WildFly / Apache Tomcat.
- Good hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Application Server.
- Good exposure to Oracle Enterprise Fusion Middleware.
- Working knowledge of Apache Web Server and Nginx.
- Understanding of Kafka, Solr, ZooKeeper and Hazelcast.
- Good knowledge of Linux OS and Linux commands.
- Hands-on Shell Scripting.
- Understanding of Java/JDK concepts related to middleware.
- Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis skills.
- Experience in middleware implementation and BAU support activities.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
