Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant

Location: Mumbai

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant with strong, ERP-wide functional expertise across core Business Central modules. This role involves hands-on participation in end-to-end ERP implementations, as well as post-go-live support engagements.

Exposure to LS Retail / LS Central is preferred, with an chance to progressively grow into retail-focused implementations as part of ongoing and future projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and support end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, including requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing, UAT, user training, and go-live support
2. Configure and support core Business Central modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Supply Chain
3. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand operational processes and translate requirements into effective Business Central solutions
4. Prepare and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including BRDs, FDDs, configuration documents, and user manuals
5. Coordinate with technical teams on customizations, integrations, data migration, and system extensions
6. Provide post-implementation support, issue analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations
7. Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to best-practice ERP implementations

Gain hands-on exposure to LS Retail / LS Central modules and support retail-specific implementations as part of project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:
1. 5+ years of experience as a Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant
2. Strong functional expertise in core Business Central modules, particularly Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory
3. Proven experience in full-cycle ERP implementations and support engagements
4. Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes across ERP domains
5. Ability to engage confidently with clients, business users, and internal technical teams
6. Excellent documentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
7. Experience working in a partner, consulting, or system integrator environment is preferred

Preferred / Added Advantage
1. Exposure to LS Retail / LS Central (POS, retail operations, configuration)
2. Experience in the retail industry
3. Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, or reporting within Business Central
4. Experience with data migration, integrations, and multi-company / multi-country implementations
5. Familiarity with Arabic language for projects in Saudi Arabia and Qatar
6. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications
