Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma – Metallurgical / Mechanical / Production Engineering

Experience: 3–5 Years Relevant Experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform metallurgical testing of raw materials & finished components.
- Conduct microstructure, decarburization, inclusion rating, grain size & phase analysis.
- Measure case depth, surface hardness & core hardness.
- Prepare specimens by sectioning, mounting, grinding, polishing & etching.
- Validate heat treatment processes, furnace parameters & hardness profiles.
- Review MTCs and ensure compliance with customer specifications/standards.
- Maintain inspection plans, lab records & equipment calibration.
- Support customer complaints, RCA, 8D, 5 Why & Fishbone Analysis.
- Review supplier reports and support supplier audits.
- Prepare metallurgical reports, test records & SOPs.
- Support audits, NPD and continuous improvement in raw material, heat treatment & manufacturing processes.
