Merchandiser

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end merchandising process from order development to shipment. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with buyers, suppliers, production, sourcing, quality, and other internal teams to ensure timely delivery of orders as per customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the complete merchandising process from product development to final shipment.
- Coordinate with buyers and customers on product requirements, specifications, approvals, and order details.
- Follow up on sampling, fabric, trims, accessories, lab dips, fit approvals, and other development activities.
- Prepare and maintain T&A; (Time and Action) plans and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate with production planning, sourcing, purchase, quality, and production teams for smooth order execution.
- Monitor order status, production progress, quality requirements, and shipment schedules.
- Follow up with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Review purchase orders, tech packs, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with the factory and relevant departments to resolve production and quality-related issues.




- Ensure orders are delivered within the agreed timeline and customer requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate merchandising records, order trackers, and customer communication.
- Communicate regularly with buyers and provide updates on order status.
- Support cost negotiations and ensure orders are executed within approved cost parameters.
- Identify potential delays or issues and take proactive corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Textile, Fashion, Apparel, or a related field.
- 2–7 years of experience in merchandising in the apparel/garment industry.
- Experience in knit garment manufacturing/export is preferred.
- Strong understanding of garment production, fabrics, trims, sampling, and order execution.
- Good knowledge of T&A;, production follow-up, and shipment processes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and merchandising systems/ERP.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet strict deadlines.
