We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser – Leather Bags with strong knowledge of product development, buyer coordination, production follow-up, and shipment execution.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling orders from development stage to final shipment while ensuring quality, timelines, costing, and buyer requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with buyers for product development, sampling, approvals, and order execution.
- Handle leather bags, handbags, wallets, accessories, and related product categories.
- Prepare and regularly update T&A;, OIH, order status, sample status, and production reports.
- Coordinate with Sampling, Production, Cutting, Quality, Stores, and Purchase, PPC, and Shipping teams.
- Follow up on leather, trims, hardware, lining, accessories, labels, packaging, and other raw materials.
- Ensure timely approval of samples, colours, materials, trims, hardware, and packaging.
- Monitor production progress from cutting, stitching, finishing, assembly, and packing to shipment.
- Track planned vs. actual dates and highlight delays or bottlenecks to management.




- Ensure timely Production File handover with complete specifications, approvals, BOM, and related documents.
- Maintain proper buyer communication and provide regular order status updates.
- Ensure products are manufactured as per approved samples, buyer specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate shipment readiness and ensure orders are dispatched within committed timelines.
- Maintain records of costing, consumption, purchase requirements, approvals, and buyer correspondence.
- Support management with regular MIS and merchandising performance updates.

Required Skills:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in leather bags/accessories merchandising.
- Good understanding of leather, trims, hardware, construction, costing, sampling, and production processes.
- Strong buyer communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of T&A; management, order follow-up, and shipment planning.
- Solid command of MS Excel, reporting, documentation, and MIS.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and work under strict timelines.

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma / Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Leather Technology, Accessories Design, Apparel, or related field.

Preferred Background:

Leather Bags Export House / Fashion Accessories Manufacturer / Buying House / International Sourcing Office.
