We are looking for a QS/QE Engineer MEP with expertise in cost estimation, BOQs, and tendering for MEP systems in commercial interior projects. The role involves end-to-end precontract cost management for MEP packages. Key Responsibilities Estimation & Costing (MEP)

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for MEP works

Conduct quantity take-offs for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection systems Develop BOQs for complete MEP scope

Validate design inputs and ensure cost efficiency in system selection Tendering & Bid Evaluation

Prepare tender documents, cost breakdowns, and pricing schedules for MEP works

Float inquiries and obtain competitive quotes from MEP vendors/suppliers

Analyze technical and commercial bids for compliance

Perform comparative analysis and vendor recommendation Pre-Bid Engineering & Cost Optimization

Support pre-bid discussions and design coordination

Suggest value engineering options for MEP systems





Ensure alignment with project budget and technical requirements

Coordination & Execution Support

Coordinate with design consultants, procurement, and project teams Ensure MEP costing aligns with overall project scope and timelines

Provide inputs for contract finalization and scope clarity Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems Expertise in MEP BOQs, estimation, and tendering

Understanding of MEP drawings, specifications, and standards

Solid analytical and negotiation skills

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

38 years of experience in MEP estimation/QS roles

Experience in commercial interiors / office fit-outs preferred
