Sourcing & Procurement Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sourcing & Procurement Specialist with strong knowledge of vendor sourcing, customized products, promotional merchandise and gifting products. The ideal candidate should have experience in identifying manufacturers, developing vendor networks and managing end-to-end sourcing and procurement for customized/bulk requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Source customized gifting products, promotional merchandise, materials, finished goods, packaging materials and other products as per business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable manufacturers, suppliers and vendors.
- Build and maintain a strong network of vendors across different product categories.
- Source customized and bulk products based on specifications, quantity, quality and budget requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQ, lead times and other commercial terms with vendors.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and monitor vendor performance.
- Conduct market research to identify new products, manufacturers, suppliers, materials and cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
- Follow up with vendors for quotations, samples, production status, quality and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with QC, Accounts, Production and other internal teams for procurement requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues related to quality, shortages, delays, incorrect materials or production requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability/reordering of required materials and products.
- Conduct vendor meetings,



market visits and supplier audits as required.
- Maintain procurement records, quotations, purchase orders and vendor documentation.
- Prepare regular procurement and vendor performance reports for management.
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with company processes, quality standards and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Vendor Development or Merchandise Sourcing.
- Strong experience in corporate gifting, promotional merchandise, customized products, consumer promotions or a similar industry will be preferred.
- Positive network and market knowledge of manufacturers and suppliers for gifting/promotional products.
- Strong vendor sourcing, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Valuable understanding of procurement and purchase processes.
- Experience in handling bulk and customized product requirements.
- Strong follow-up, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good commercial understanding and market knowledge.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel for vendor meetings, market visits and supplier visits when required.
