Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Site Engineer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Railway Infrastructure and/or Commercial Building MEP projects.

The candidate will be responsible for site execution, supervision, coordination, testing and commissioning of Electrical and associated MEP services. The role requires good knowledge of electrical systems, MEP drawings, BOQ, quantity verification, material planning, contractor coordination, and site documentation.

Roles & ResponsibilitiesElectrical & MEP Site Execution

- Execute and supervise Electrical and MEP works as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project requirements.
- Supervise installation of HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS, LT panels, DBs, MCC panels, cable trays, cables, earthing, lightning protection, and lighting systems.
- Coordinate execution of associated HVAC, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Plumbing/PHE, and ELV systems as per project requirements.
- Monitor day-to-day site activities and ensure work is completed according to the approved construction schedule.
- Ensure proper installation practices, workmanship, safety, and quality standards at site.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, structural, and other MEP teams to avoid clashes and execution delays.

Railway Project Responsibilities
- Execute electrical and MEP works related to railway stations, station buildings, service buildings, platforms, utility areas, and other railway infrastructure.
- Coordinate site activities in accordance with approved Railway/client drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards.
- Support installation and commissioning of station electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, earthing, panels, DG/UPS systems, HVAC, fire protection, and associated building services.
- Coordinate with Railway/client representatives, consultants, contractors,



and other agencies for inspections and approvals.
- Prepare and maintain necessary site records, inspection requests, test reports, checklists, and progress documentation.
- Ensure work is executed without affecting other railway/site operations and in compliance with applicable site safety requirements.

Commercial Building MEP Responsibilities
- Supervise MEP works for commercial buildings, offices, institutional buildings, and other infrastructure projects.
- Read and understand Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing/PHE, and coordinated MEP drawings.
- Coordinate installation of lighting, power, cable containment, panels, HVAC equipment, firefighting systems, plumbing services, and associated utilities.
- Identify site coordination issues and communicate required changes to the design/project team.
- Verify completed work against approved drawings and specifications.

BOQ, Billing & Material Management
- Understand BOQ and verify quantities against drawings and actual site requirements.
- Carry out quantity take-off and site measurements for executed works.
- Assist in preparation and verification of contractor/subcontractor bills.
- Prepare material requirements based on drawings, BOQ, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and stores for timely availability of materials.
- Verify incoming materials against approved technical specifications and quantities.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage at site.

Testing & Commissioning
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical and MEP systems.
- Conduct/assist with insulation resistance, continuity, earthing, panel, cable, transformer, DG, UPS, lighting, and other electrical tests as applicable.
- Coordinate testing of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Plumbing/PHE,



and associated systems with respective teams/vendors.
- Attend client/consultant inspections and ensure observations or punch points are closed within the required timeline.

Documentation & Coordination
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and maintain site records.
- Maintain approved drawings, BOQ, inspection reports, test reports, material approvals, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, supervisors, and site teams.
- Report site progress, material requirements, technical issues, and delays to the Project Manager.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
- Ensure timely closure of snag/punch-list items.

Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of Electrical and MEP site execution.
- Knowledge of HT/LT distribution, transformers, DG, UPS, panels, DBs, cables, cable trays, earthing, lightning protection, and lighting systems.
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Plumbing/PHE, and ELV systems.
- Ability to read and understand SLD, electrical layouts, MEP coordination drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, estimation, measurements, and billing.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office/Excel.
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Familiarity with site safety and quality requirements.

Candidate Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma – Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Railway, Infrastructure, Commercial Building, or MEP projects.
- Candidates with hands-on Railway Station MEP/Electrical project experience will be preferred.
- Should have experience in site execution and manpower/subcontractor supervision.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and coordinate with multiple agencies.
- Ability to complete assigned work within project timelines.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
