Role Description The MEP Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of warehouse and retail infrastructure projects. The role involves reviewing and interpreting MEP designs and drawings, coordinating with internal design, civil, HVAC, and electrical teams, and ensuring accurate installation in line with project specifications and industry standards. The engineer will oversee project execution in office, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, vendor coordination, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Daily tasks include conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, preparing reports,



and supporting project managers in achieving quality, cost, and timeline targets. The role also requires effective communication with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide status updates.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with practical experience in integrated MEP project execution.
- Mechanical Engineering knowledge with experience in HVAC systems, pipeline layouts, and equipment installation for industrial or commercial facilities.
- Electrical Engineering skills, including understanding of power distribution, lighting, panels, safety systems, and relevant standards and codes.
- Plumbing expertise, including water supply, drainage, and fire-fighting piping, with familiarity in design interpretation and on-site implementation.
- Project Management capabilities, such as planning, scheduling, coordination, risk management, and documentation to ensure on-time delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Experience in warehouse, industrial, or retail infrastructure projects, preferably in a multi-disciplinary workplace.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications, with strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office, project tracking tools) and familiarity with applicable codes and regulations.
