(JD) – MEP Manager

Position: MEP Manager (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

Location: Project Site / Bangalore

Reporting To: Project Director / Project Manager

Role Purpose The MEP Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and delivering all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for the project. The role involves managing consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of MEP works while maintaining quality, safety, and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all MEP activities across the project lifecycle.

Review MEP drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and BOQs.

Coordinate with architects, civil teams, consultants, and contractors for seamless execution.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of MEP milestones.

Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Review contractor bills, measurements, variations, and certifications.

Ensure all installations comply with statutory regulations, local authority requirements, and client standards.

Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.

Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.

Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and progress updates to management and clients.





Support procurement activities and evaluate technical submissions from vendors and contractors.

Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements at site.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Additional certifications in Project Management will be an added advantage.

10-15 years of experience in MEP project execution and management.

Experience in commercial office, IT parks, data centers, industrial, interiors, or mixed-use development projects.

Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, ELV, and Building Management Systems.
