Position: MEP Engineer

Reporting To: Project Manager / MEP Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled MEP Engineer to oversee the planning, design coordination, execution, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, site execution experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and other project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, and other MEP services with architectural and structural requirements.
- Supervise MEP installation and execution at site according to approved drawings and project specifications.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality, progress, and compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Identify design clashes and coordinate with consultants and project teams for timely resolution.
- Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
- Monitor material requirements, procurement, delivery, and usage at site.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager / MEP Manager.
- Review contractor measurements, work completion, and support billing verification.
- Maintain inspection records, test reports, as-built drawings, and other project documentation.




- Participate in site meetings and coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams.
- Support snagging, rectification, handover, and final documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3–8 years of relevant MEP experience in construction, commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and site execution.
- Experience with AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM/Revit is preferred.
- Good knowledge of relevant Indian/international MEP codes and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and project documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively under project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, ELV, or building services.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and BOQ preparation.
- Experience with testing and commissioning.
- Knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
- Experience working with consultants, PMC teams, and MEP contractors.
- Solid site-management and leadership capabilities.

- Quality and safety of MEP installations.
