We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mendix Test Automation Engineer with 4-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in automating tests within Mendix environments, alongside strong skills in Python and SQL. The role involves ensuring the quality of Mendix applications by building and maintaining robust automated testing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Mendix applications.
- Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and define test automation strategies.
- Implement test automation scripts using Mendix automation tools and integrate with existing test frameworks.
- Ensure the integration of automation tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Debug and troubleshoot test failures, identify bugs, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve testing issues and improve overall software quality.
- Execute SQL queries to validate the database and ensure data integrity as part of the testing process.
- Write,
maintain, and optimize Python scripts for test automation, ensuring scalability and performance.
Mandatory Skills:
- Mendix Automation: Proven experience in test automation within the Mendix platform.
- Python: Strong proficiency in writing automation scripts using Python.
- SQL: Hands-on experience with SQL for database validation and testing.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests in the pipeline.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and testing within Agile frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in test automation, with a strong focus on Mendix.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
