Role Description This full-time remote Medical Scribe role supports clinicians by accurately documenting patient encounters in real time within electronic health records and related systems. Daily responsibilities include recording histories, physical exam findings, diagnostic results, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions, while ensuring documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards.

The Medical

Scribe will clarify information with clinical staff, review charts for completeness, and assist with updating templates, orders,



and problem lists as directed. The role also involves collaborating with care teams to support coordinated, data-driven care and maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations. This position requires consistent, reliable availability to align with provider schedules and virtual care workflows.

Qualifications

- Clinical documentation skills, including experience as a Scribe or in a similar medical documentation role.
- Solid knowledge of Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy to accurately capture clinical information.
- Background in Medical Assisting or comparable clinical support experience in outpatient or telehealth settings.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear written documentation and professional interaction with care teams.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic healthcare IT tools.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.
- Commitment to patient privacy and compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
- Preferred: Prior experience in care coordination, telehealth, or AI-enabled healthcare platforms.
- Preferred: Relevant certification or coursework in medical scribing, medical assisting, or health sciences.
