Role Description The Medical Coder role at MedQore Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Palghat.

The Medical

Coder will review clinical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes in alignment with payer guidelines and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include validating medical necessity, ensuring proper sequencing of codes,



and collaborating with billing and RCM teams to support clean claim submission and reduce denials. The role involves conducting regular documentation audits, identifying discrepancies, and providing feedback to improve provider documentation quality.

The Medical

Coder will also help maintain coding standards, stay updated with coding changes, and support training or process updates as required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Medical Coding skills, including practical experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
- Candidates should possess solid Coding Experience in clinical or hospital settings, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Health Information Management principles and best practices.
- Candidates should possess a good understanding of Medical Terminology relevant to multiple specialties, including behavioral health.
- Candidates should possess professional credentials such as RHIT or other recognized coding certifications (e.g., CPC, CCS) as an advantage.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with EHR systems, exposure to RCM workflows, robust attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical and billing teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Health Information Management, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
