Job Summary The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, with the skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A/R days. The successful applicant will work on a number of tasks requiring data analysis, in-depth evaluation and exercising judgment within the appropriate scope of practice.

Responsibilities

- Obtaining Eligibility Advantages referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures
- Patient s demo entry, Verify Patient s demographic entry, Verify basic EVBV etc.
- Verify medical notes for charge posting and post charges after verifying CPT, ICD and or appending appropriate required modifier.
- Submit billing data to clearing house to submit it to insurance companies within 24 hrs. upon receiving clean superbills.
- Check Clearing house reports and work on it within 24 hrs.
- Work on claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided.
- Perform Medicare / Medical reviews and audits.
- Implement, maintain,



and report on programs initiated by the practice.
- Perform payment posting and denial management tasks.
- Reviewing patient balance for accuracy and completeness of statements.
- Sending the patients statements.
- Any other tasks assigned by TL
- Team player.
- Maintain productivity and reports.
