Role Description The Mechanical Engineer – Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) will work on-site at the Chennai facility in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and MEP systems for commercial and industrial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting senior engineers with mechanical design calculations, preparing drawings and technical documentation, coordinating with project teams for site execution, and participating in quality checks and adherence to EHS standards.





The role involves monitoring equipment performance, collecting and analyzing data, supporting troubleshooting activities, and contributing to retrofit and revamping projects in line with project specifications. The GET will collaborate with cross-functional teams, interact with vendors and suppliers as needed, and help ensure timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer, with knowledge of HVAC systems and general MEP concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications, and familiarity with CAD tools or other design software.
- Understanding of basic project execution processes, site coordination, and quality control procedures, with an awareness of EHS and safety standards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting mechanical systems, data collection, and performance evaluation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and site personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline from an accredited institution.
- Willingness to work on-site at project locations, learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to field conditions and client requirements.
