Mechanical Engineer – Fire Safety

Experience: 10+ years

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Function: Fire Protection / Mechanical FLS

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer – Fire Safety to support the design, review, approval, implementation, testing, and commissioning of Fire & Life Safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review designs for:
- Fire Hydrant Systems
- Sprinkler Systems
- Foam Systems
- Clean Agent Systems
- Fire Pumps
- Smoke Management
- Staircase Pressurization
- Conduct fire-safety engineering assessments.
- Ensure designs comply with NFPA, BS, and international codes .
- Review contractor shop drawings, calculations, and material submittals.
- Prepare FLS reports, NOCs, and technical submissions.
- Attend authority meetings and respond to technical comments.
- Conduct site inspections.
- Witness testing and commissioning of fire-protection systems.
- Identify non-compliances and issue corrective-action reports.
- Coordinate with Architects, MEP Consultants,



Contractors, Developers, and Facility Managers.

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory .
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience .
- Solid Fire Protection / Fire Fighting design and consultancy experience.
- Good knowledge of NFPA and international fire codes.
- Experience in site inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Membership with NFPA, ASHRAE, or equivalent professional bodies is advantageous.
