Commandtech is looking for skilled MEP BIM Modelers to join our growing BIM team. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and coordinated MEP models using Revit MEP and supporting BIM deliverables across project stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain MEP BIM models using Revit MEP.
- Model HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other MEP services based on design drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret MEP drawings, layouts and engineering documents.
- Coordinate MEP models with architectural and structural disciplines.
- Perform basic clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
- Prepare and update BIM models according to project requirements and standards.
- Create and maintain views, schedules, sheets and model documentation.
- Identify modelling issues and coordinate with the relevant team members for resolution.
- Follow project BIM standards, modelling guidelines and LOD requirements.
- Support BIM Coordinators/Engineers in project deliverables and revisions.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in MEP BIM/Revit MEP.
- Valuable knowledge of Revit MEP.
- Understanding of HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings.
- Basic knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection.
- Understanding of BIM workflows and coordination.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Education Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, any other relevant engineering discipline.
Preferred
- Experience working on GCC projects.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and LOD requirements.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.
- Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
