Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer will work full time in office in the Bangalore Urban district, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing mechanical components and assemblies, developing machine and product designs, and creating detailed CAD models and engineering drawings. The role involves analyzing design requirements, performing basic calculations, selecting appropriate materials and components, and supporting prototype development and testing.

The engineer will also revise designs based on feedback, ensure compliance with relevant standards,



and coordinate with software and manufacturing teams to enable efficient product development and CAD automation solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world design challenges.
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Machine Design, including designing mechanisms, assemblies, and systems for performance and reliability.
- Experience in Product Design, focusing on functionality, manufacturability, and user requirements.
- Hands-on skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), with experience in creating 3D models, drawings, and documentation using industry-standard tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, work with tolerances, and collaborate with manufacturing or suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple design tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively in an on-site, multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with CAD automation, scripting, or integration with software tools is a plus.
