Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer will work on-site in the Pune Division in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and development of mechanical components and systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and modifying 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings, performing design calculations, and supporting machine and product design activities in line with client and project requirements.

The role involves collaborating with internal engineering teams and client stakeholders to understand specifications, evaluate design feasibility,



and propose design improvements. The engineer will assist in integrating CAE and simulation tools into the design process, support design reviews, and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices. Additional tasks include preparing technical documentation, coordinating with manufacturing and quality teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of design workflows.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering mechanics and design principles to real-world problems.
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Machine Design, including experience with mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Experience in Product Design, from concept development to detailed engineering and support for prototyping or production.
- Hands-on expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), preferably SolidWorks, for 3D modeling, drafting, and design documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and client specifications with high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with CAE and finite element analysis tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Pune Division and engage with client engineering teams as needed.
