Role Description This full time Mechanical Design Engineer role is an on-site position based in Coimbatore.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies for electronic and renewable energy products, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and manufacturing requirements. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD tools, performing basic calculations and design validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as electronics, manufacturing,



and quality to integrate mechanical and electronic systems. The role also involves supporting prototype development, participating in design reviews, optimizing designs for cost and manufacturability, and preparing technical documentation and specifications. The engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards while meeting project timelines and quality goals.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to product development.
- Experience in Machine Design and Product Design, including creating robust, manufacturable mechanical solutions for electronic and renewable products.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed drafting of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and tolerance analysis relevant to mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards, and prepare clear technical documentation.
- Collaborative mindset with effective communication skills to work closely with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Experience in electronics or renewable energy product environments and familiarity with industry standards is an advantage.
