About the Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on PTC Creo Parametric experience to join our engineering team. You will create accurate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for steam turbine components and industrial equipment. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality and project teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D part and assembly models in PTC Creo Parametric for turbine components, sub-assemblies and related equipment.

- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with correct dimensions, tolerances, GD&T; and bills of materials (BOM).

- Modify and update existing models and drawings based on design changes, customer requirements and shop-floor feedback.

- Interpret technical specifications, customer drawings and industry standards, and translate them into manufacturable designs.

- Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement and quality teams to resolve design and production issues.

- Perform basic design checks for fit, interference and manufacturability.

- Maintain documentation, revision control and drawing records as per company standards.

- Prepare general arrangement (GA) and layout drawings in AutoCAD when required.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

- 2–3 years of experience in mechanical design.

- PTC Creo Parametric (2D and 3D) is mandatory, with good working knowledge of part modeling, assembly, sheet metal and detailing.

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

- Exposure to SolidWorks and/or CATIA is an added advantage.

- Valuable understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances and fits.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, casting and welding.

- Familiarity with material selection and relevant standards (ISO, ASME, IS).

Preferred Experience

- Experience with a steam turbine manufacturer is highly preferred.

- Candidates from the energy or power sector, or from industrial equipment manufacturers, will also be considered.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned work.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
