MD MEDICINE / GENERAL PHYSICIAN

Position: Consultant MD Medicine / General Physician

Department: General Medicine

Location: B R Health Care Rohini Hospital, Delhi

Job Profile / Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive consultation and medical care to OPD and IPD patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct detailed patient history, physical examination and clinical assessment.
- Prescribe appropriate treatment, investigations and medications as per clinical requirements.
- Manage emergency and critical medical cases in coordination with the hospital team.
- Conduct daily IPD rounds and monitor patient progress.
- Review investigation reports and modify treatment plans when required.
- Coordinate with specialists and other departments for patient management.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure timely admission, discharge and follow-up planning for patients.
- Provide appropriate counselling and guidance to patients and their attendants.
- Follow hospital clinical protocols,



infection-control practices and patient-safety standards.
- Participate in hospital meetings, quality initiatives and NABH-related activities as required.

Eligibility / Qualification

- MBBS + MD/DNB in General Medicine / Medicine
- Valid medical registration with the concerned State Medical Council / NMC as applicable.
- Relevant hospital experience preferred.
- Good clinical knowledge and patient-management skills.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
