Key Responsibilities:

- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions.

- Conduct detailed medical assessments and maintain accurate patient records.

- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.

- Interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory reports, ECGs, X-rays, and other investigations.

- Provide preventive healthcare counselling and patient education.

- Coordinate with specialists for referrals and advanced treatment when required.

- Participate in emergency and critical care management.

- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, NABH standards, and clinical guidelines.

- Maintain medical documentation in hospital information systems (HIS).

- Participate in health camps, awareness programmes, and community outreach initiatives.

Specialisations Required:

Hospitals may require physicians from one or more of the following specialisations:

- General Medicine

- Internal Medicine

- Family Medicine

- Diabetology

- Cardiology

- Pulmonology

- Gastroenterology

- Nephrology

- Infectious Diseases

- Emergency Medicine

- Critical Care Medicine

- Occupational Health

- Osteopathic Medicine (Orthopedic)

Qualification:

- MBBS from a recognised medical institution.

- MD/DNB in General Medicine,



Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or relevant specialisation preferred.

- Registration with National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council.

- Additional certifications in ACLS, BLS, or Emergency Medicine will be an added advantage.

Experience:

- 2+ years of relevant clinical experience.

- Experience in multispeciality hospitals, healthcare institutions, or corporate hospitals preferred.

- Fresh MD/DNB candidates may also be considered for junior positions.

Required Skills:

- Robust clinical diagnosis and patient management skills.

- Excellent communication and patient counselling abilities.

- Knowledge of evidence-based medical practices.

- Ability to handle OPD, IPD, and emergency cases.

- Proficiency in Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and EMR documentation.

- Teamwork and multidisciplinary coordination skills.

Working Conditions:

- OPD and IPD management.

- Fixed shifts and emergency duties, if required.

- Compliance with clinics quality and patient safety standards.

Preferred for Healthcare Industry: Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals, government healthcare projects, district hospitals, medical colleges, or multispeciality healthcare facilities.
