PRT – Mathematics (Classes I–V)

Role:

To teach Mathematics to primary school students in an engaging, age appropriate and activity based manner, building strong foundational numeracy, logical thinking and problem solving skills in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Classes I–V.
- Build robust foundational skills in numbers, arithmetic, geometry, measurement and basic problem solving.
- Use activity based, experiential and child friendly teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, activities and learning resources.
- Use teaching aids, games, manipulatives and technology to make Mathematics enjoyable and easy to understand.
- Assess students regularly through classwork, activities, tests and other appropriate methods.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide additional support and remedial teaching.
- Maintain accurate academic and assessment records.




- Develop students' logical thinking, reasoning and application of Mathematics in everyday life.
- Maintain a positive, safe, disciplined and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage curiosity, participation, confidence and independent learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress and areas for improvement.
- Participate in school events, activities, meetings and co-curricular programmes.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure continuity and consistency in primary education.
- Follow CBSE guidelines, school policies and academic standards.
- Contribute to the overall academic, social and emotional development of students.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
