Role Description We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Mental Maths Teacher to help students develop solid mathematical thinking, calculation speed, accuracy, concentration, and problem-solving abilities.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching mathematics in an engaging and student-friendly manner. You will use mental calculation techniques, Vedic Maths, Abacus-based methods, visual learning, puzzles, games, and practical exercises to make mathematics enjoyable and easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach mental mathematics concepts to students across different age and skill levels.
- Develop students' calculation speed, accuracy, concentration, and logical thinking .
- Teach techniques for quick addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, fractions, squares, cubes, and other calculations.
- Use Vedic Maths, Abacus, mental calculation techniques, and other age-appropriate methods where applicable.
- Prepare structured lesson plans, worksheets, practice exercises, quizzes, and assessments.
- Conduct interactive classroom, online, or one-to-one sessions.
- Identify individual student strengths, weaknesses, and learning gaps.




- Provide personalized guidance and additional practice where required.
- Track student progress and maintain appropriate performance records.
- Conduct regular tests and assessments to measure improvement.
- Encourage students to develop confidence and a positive attitude toward mathematics.
- Use games, puzzles, activities, and real-world examples to make lessons engaging.
- Communicate students' progress and areas for improvement to parents or guardians when required.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and supportive learning environment.
- Continuously improve teaching methods and stay updated with innovative mathematics-learning techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, Science, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience teaching Mental Maths, Vedic Maths, Abacus, Mathematics, or related programs is preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts in a simple and engaging way.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Patience and enthusiasm for working with children.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods according to different learning levels.
- Comfortable using digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.





Preferred Experience Experience working with students in the following age groups is an advantage:
- 5–7 years: Basic number sense and foundational calculations
- 8–10 years: Mental arithmetic and calculation techniques
- 11–14 years: Advanced mental maths, logical reasoning, and problem-solving
- 14+ years: Advanced calculation techniques and competitive-exam preparation
