Role Description The Marketplace Finance Executive is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for managing and reviewing marketplace-related financial data, including reconciling payouts, commissions, returns, and other charges from e-commerce platforms.

Daily tasks include preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, monitoring revenue and expenses, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions in coordination with internal teams and marketplace partners. The role also involves overseeing GST-related documentation and compliance, supporting audits, and resolving discrepancies in financial records.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance, including understanding of accounting principles and marketplace financial processes.
- Ability to work with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and provide actionable insights.
- Knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, compliance requirements, and related documentation.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial tools (e.g., Excel, accounting/ERP software) for data management and reconciliation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
