Summary

We are looking for a results-driven and hands-on Manager of Marketing Operations to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our marketing systems, data, and processes. This role will own the marketing automation platform primarily HubSpot and its ecosystem will be responsible for building complex workflows, managing lifecycle stages, maintaining database quality, strengthening subscription and consent governance, improving email deliverability, and ensuring reliable integration between HubSpot, Salesforce, and the broader marketing technology ecosystem.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong technical execution. You should be comfortable designing scalable processes, troubleshooting system and data issues, and partnering with Demand Generation, RevOps, Business Operations, and Technology teams to improve funnel efficiency, pipeline visibility, and revenue impact.

Marketing Operations Manager

Core Responsibilities

- Own the Marketing Operations strategy, roadmap, systems, processes, and governance aligned with business growth and pipeline objectives.
- Serve as the primary hands-on administrator and subject-matter expert for HubSpot.
- Build, test, document, and optimize complex HubSpot workflows using branching logic, enrollment and re-enrollment criteria, lead scoring, routing, nurture paths, notifications, task creation, and data updates.
- Design and manage lifecycle stages and lead statuses across HubSpot and Salesforce, including Subscriber, Engaged, MQL, SAL, SQL, Opportunity, Customer, Nurture, Recycle, and Disqualified.
- Define qualification rules, sales handoff processes, SLAs, ownership rules, recycling logic, and stage-entry and exit criteria.
- Own marketing data management, including property architecture, field standards, data mapping, normalization, deduplication, enrichment, validation, imports, suppression, and database audits.
- Establish data-governance processes to improve contact quality, completeness, marketing-contact eligibility, reporting accuracy, and platform efficiency.
- Manage GDPR-aligned consent capture, lawful processing, subscription types, communication preferences, suppression lists, retention, deletion, and opt-out synchronization.
- Build and maintain subscription-management processes across HubSpot, Salesforce, and connected email platforms.
- Develop email warm-up and deliverability programs for new domains, subdomains, dedicated IPs, and email platforms.
- Monitor sender reputation, bounce rates, spam complaints, unsubscribes, engagement, inbox placement, and email-performance trends.




- Partner with IT to manage email authentication and sending-domain requirements, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Own the HubSpot-Salesforce integration, including object and field mapping, lead and contact synchronization, ownership, campaign-member statuses, lifecycle alignment, attribution, and error resolution.
- Maintain reliable data flows between Salesforce, Goldcast, ZoomInfo, Freckle, Seamless.ai, and other marketing platforms.
- Manage Goldcast data flows for event registrations, attendance, engagement, campaign-member statuses, and post-event follow-up.
- Manage ZoomInfo, Freckle, and Seamless.ai processes for prospect enrichment, email verification, data validation, segmentation, and duplicate prevention.
- Enable Demand Generation and regional marketing teams with campaign setup, audience segmentation, nurture programs, email operations, webinar support, event execution, UTM governance, and launch QA.
- Build dashboards and reports for funnel conversion, MQL performance, lead aging, lifecycle movement, database health, campaign attribution, pipeline contribution, and marketing performance.
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, routing issues, integration errors, sync conflicts, API and webhook failures, data discrepancies, and reporting gaps.
- Partner with Sales, RevOps, IT, Legal, Privacy, and external vendors to drive scalable process improvements and operational excellence.
- Maintain documentation, naming conventions, change-management controls, QA checklists, and platform-governance standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7–9 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Marketing Automation, CRM Operations, or a related function.
- Experience working in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, HR technology, or technology marketing.
- Proven experience owning marketing systems, processes, data governance, funnel operations, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Advanced hands-on experience with HubSpot is mandatory.
- Proven experience building, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting complex HubSpot workflows.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including leads, contacts,



accounts, campaigns, campaign members, opportunities, ownership, and lifecycle synchronization.
- Experience managing integrations with platforms such as Goldcast, ZoomInfo, Freckle, Seamless.ai, or similar marketing technologies.
- Solid understanding of:
- HubSpot administration and workflow automation
- Lifecycle-stage and lead-status management
- Lead scoring, routing, nurture, and sales handoffs
- Marketing database governance and data quality
- GDPR, consent, subscription, and suppression management
- Email warm-up, deliverability, sender reputation, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
- Salesforce integration, campaign influence, and marketing attribution
- APIs, webhooks, middleware, and data synchronization
- Funnel, campaign, pipeline, and operational reporting
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate operational and marketing data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent project-management, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfortable balancing strategic planning with detailed hands-on platform execution.

Nice to Have

- Experience in AI, HR Technology, or enterprise SaaS.
- Experience supporting global, regional, account-based, or intent-based marketing programs.
- Experience with workflow, integration, or automation platforms such as Workato, n8n, or similar tools.
- Understanding of MQLs, SALs, SQLs, opportunities, pipeline attribution, campaign influence, and revenue reporting.
- Experience managing marketing-technology vendors, platform budgets, and implementation projects.
- HubSpot or Salesforce certification.
- Basic SQL, HTML, CSS, or scripting knowledge for troubleshooting and operational analysis.
