Role Description The Marketing and Strategy Manager for Founder's Office is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune district. The role involves collaborating closely with the founder to define strategic priorities, develop marketing roadmaps, and support key decision-making across projects.
Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes; creating and executing marketing campaigns for projects like Skyfinia; and monitoring performance metrics to refine strategies. The manager will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, oversee project timelines and deliverables, and prepare executive presentations, reports, and dashboards. This role also includes supporting sales enablement through marketing collateral, pitch decks, and strategic inputs to drive business growth.
Objectives of this Role
● Decide how to position our brand and who our buyers are, and brief agencies clearly so their plans match this direction.
● Oversee marketing campaigns from start to finish by briefing agencies, reviewing their work, and keeping timelines on track.
● Study customers, market trends, and competitor projects (or review the agency's research) and use these insights to guide their strategy.
● Track results across all marketing channels, reported by the agency, and give clear inputs on what needs to change.
● Work with the sales and CRM team to make sure agency-generated leads are followed up well.
● Review the agency's social media work and give inputs to keep the brand's image strong.
● Check that all ads and marketing material made by the agency follow RERA rules before they go live.
Note: This is not a hands-on execution role. All marketing work creative, campaigns, content, portal management, and on-ground activities will be carried out by our marketing and business agencies. Your role will be to brief agencies clearly, review their work, track performance, and give the inputs needed to keep things on track, on budget, and on brand.
Detailed Responsibilities
1. Brand & Strategy
● Check that the agency's work across every project follows the brand guidelines already in place — logo usage, colors, tone, and tagline. ● Review the agency's competitor study (pricing, offers, marketing style) every quarter and give inputs on positioning.
● Guide the agency on who the buyer is for each project (first-time buyer, investor, NRI, upgrader) so their messaging is targeted correctly.
● Review and approve the yearly marketing calendar prepared by the agency.
1. Digital Marketing (Online)
● Review and approve the agency's Google Ads and Meta ad plans — budget, targeting, creatives — before they go live, and check performance regularly. ● Make sure the website (managed by the agency)
stays updated — project pages, price lists, floor plans, and photos.
● Review the agency's SEO reports and give inputs on what to prioritize.
● Approve social media content (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn) before it goes live, and give feedback on quality and tone.
● Review WhatsApp broadcast content and timing before it's sent out.
● Make sure every digital ad and post — Google, Meta, social media, website — carries the RERA registration number and required disclaimers, just like print ads.
● Track the cost per lead and cost per booking the agency reports every month, and question anything that looks off.
1. Offline Marketing (Traditional)
● Approve hoarding/billboard locations and designs proposed by the agency. ● Review and approve newspaper ad content and timing.
● Approve local visibility material — banners, pamphlets, standees — before it's printed.
● Review the agency's plan for property expos and exhibitions and approve participation.
1. Project Launch Marketing
● Review the agency's pre-launch plan teasers, countdown, early-bird offers and give inputs before it starts. ● Check the landing page or microsite built by the agency for accuracy before it goes live.
● Approve the launch day event plan venue, invites, media coverage, giveaways.
● Review press release drafts and media coverage plans before they go out.
● Check that the vendor maintains the sample flat/experience center signage and that the walkthrough script stays updated.
1. Channel Partner (Broker) Management
● Check that brochures, price sheets, and floor plans shared with brokers are accurate and current. ● Approve broker commission and incentive schemes before they're announced.
● Review WhatsApp broadcasts to brokers before they go out.
● Approve broker meet or event plans, and attend the important ones.
1. Property Portal Management
● Spot-check listings on 99acres, MagicBricks, Housing.com, NoBroker to make sure they're accurate. ● Make sure leads coming from these portals are being responded to quickly (same day).
● Review portal package renewal or upgrade recommendations and approve spend.
● Track cost per lead by portal, as reported by the agency.
1. Content & Website
● Review brochures, price sheets, website, and WhatsApp catalogue content before it's published. ● Approve ad copy,
website content, and social media posts drafted by the agency.
● Review internal material sales presentations, FAQ sheets, comparison sheets prepared by the agency or sales team.
1. Budget & Vendor Management
● Set the marketing budget for each project and channel, with the agency's input, and approve it. ● Get and compare quotes from agencies and vendors; negotiate rates and approve payments.
● Track actual spend against budget every month, as reported by the agency, and flag anything off-track.
1. Site Visits & On-Ground Experience
● Approve drone shoot and walkthrough video plans from the vendor. ● Check the 360-degree virtual tour once it's built.
● Coordinate with the sales team on how site visits are handled.
● Approve refreshed sample flat staging and signage every few months.
1. Analytics & Reporting
● Review the monthly report prepared by the agency leads, site visits, bookings, and cost by channel and question the numbers where needed. ● Give inputs on shifting budget based on which channels perform best.
● Present these numbers, with your own inputs added, to the owner or management every month.11. Team & Vendor Coordination
● Brief agencies clearly on what's needed and by when.
● Review agency output for quality and brand fit before it goes live.
● Hold regular check-ins with each agency (design, digital, PR) to track progress.
● Work closely with the sales head to make sure agency-generated leads are followed up properly.
Skills & Qualifications
● 5-8 years of marketing experience, ideally including time managing agencies or vendors.
● Comfortable reviewing and giving feedback on both online and offline marketing work, without needing to execute it yourself.
● Knows RERA rules for real estate advertising is an added advantage but not crucial including what's required on digital ads and social media, not just print so they can catch compliance issues before anything goes live.
● Good with numbers — able to read agency reports and question them where needed.
● Strong at briefing, negotiating with, and following up on agencies and vendors.
● Good at talking to people and explaining ideas clearly.
Tools You Should Know
● Familiar enough with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics to read agency reports and ask the right questions — doesn't need to run campaigns personally.
● Comfortable reviewing creative work (in Canva or similar) and judging quality, even without designing it themselves.
● Excel/Google Sheets for tracking budgets and reports.
● Comfortable working in our CRM software — reviewing leads, follow-ups, and conversion reports the agency shares.
