Executive – Market Research

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Employment Type: Full-time

Reporting To: Sales/BD In-charge

Experience: 1-3 yrs preferred; freshers with solid skills considered

Languages Required: Fluent English plus anyone (Hindi / Tamil / Malayalam)

Education: Bachelor's degree (Marketing or related field); MBA/PGDM is a plus

Why This Role Exists

Before a sale can happen, someone has to find the right company, the right person to talk to and start that first conversation. This role is that first step - researching and identifying genuine leads, reaching out, understanding what a prospect needs and handing over only the ones worth pursuing. Done well, it means the Sales/BD team spends its time closing real opportunities, not chasing dead ends.

What You'll Be Doing

- Research and identify qualified leads through Google/web search, LinkedIn, and industry portals.
- Build and maintain an accurate, updated database of prospective clients and contacts.
- Reach out to prospects by call, email and LinkedIn to introduce Mevive and gauge interest.
- Understand a prospect's initial requirements and qualify whether it's a genuine, worthwhile opportunity.




- Record interactions, lead status and follow-ups and hand over qualified leads to the Sales/BD team.
- Handle a steady volume of outbound calls and follow-ups, managing multiple conversations at once.
- Track your numbers and share regular reports on leads generated, calls made and conversions handed over.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree (Marketing or related field); freshers with strong communication and research skills are welcome.
- 1–3 years in market research, lead generation, inside sales or telecalling preferred - not mandatory for the right fresher.
- Excellent English and anyone language (Hindi / Tamil / Malayalam) communication skills.
- Comfortable researching online - LinkedIn, Google, supplier platforms, industry portals.
- Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and CRM or lead-management tools.
- Confident on the phone, comfortable with high call volumes and repeated follow-ups.
- Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working toward targets - not put off by rejection.
