Key Responsibilities:

- Operate conventional and/or CNC machines such as lathe, milling machine, drilling machine, boring machine, and grinding machine.

- Manufacture and repair marine components such as shafts, bushes, sleeves, pins, couplings, flanges, gears, and other mechanical parts.

- Carry out turning, facing, boring, threading, grooving, drilling, milling, and grinding operations.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining instructions.

- Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.

- Perform machining and reconditioning work on ship machinery and equipment during ship repair projects.

- Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.





- Identify worn or damaged components and carry out suitable machining/reconditioning work.

- Set up machines, select appropriate cutting tools, and adjust cutting parameters.

- Conduct dimensional inspection of finished components.

- Follow shipyard safety procedures, PPE requirements, quality standards, and housekeeping practices.

- Coordinate with fitters, welders, supervisors, engineers, and ship repair teams to complete jobs within the required schedule.

- Maintain machining tools, equipment, and work areas in safe working condition.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
