Marine Sales Engineer

Job Responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities in the marine and offshore industry.
- Identify and approach ship owners, ship management companies, shipyards, and other marine-related businesses.
- Promote and sell marine equipment, spare parts, technical products, and marine services.
- Handle technical sales by understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and technical presentations.
- Coordinate with the technical and service teams to provide appropriate solutions to customers.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and purchase orders.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business development.
- Attend customer meetings, vessel visits, exhibitions, and industry events when required.
- Identify new market opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
- Maintain proper records of customer interactions, sales activities, enquiries,



and follow-ups.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Bcom, MBA or any relevant field.
- 1–7 years of experience in marine sales, technical sales, ship equipment, marine services, or a related industry.
- Candidates interested in technical sales and business development are encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of marine equipment, products, and services will be an advantage.
- Robust communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate suitable solutions to customers.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and vessel visits.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic sales reporting tools.

Preferred
- Experience in marine equipment sales or technical sales.
- Experience with ship owners, ship management companies, shipyards, or offshore companies.
