Scope of the role:

- Production planning, scheduling and machine loading of Captive Centre (TEAL Specific Machining Facility managed by other business entities)

- Technical Assistance to the operating teams of the captive centers to align with the Machining Programming Cycle Time.

- Interface between Technical Teams of TEAL &
- Captive Centers for quick technical resolutions (Drawing errors / Manufacturing Feasibility Limitations / Part Inspection etc.)

- Daily updates on the progress and current state of Pipeline at Captive Centers.

- Periodic / Monthly updates on the deliverables / pipeline to the SMTs of TEAL &

- Captive Center.

- Decision Making related to the Limitations / Expectations on daily requirement of Captive Centers for Uninterrupted flow of Machined Items.

Job Profile:

- Scheduling &
- Prioritization for loading the machines

- Interfacing between Internal teams &

- Captive Centre

- Captive Centre Management and conflict resolution

- Data Management &

- MIS needs Negotiation and price finalization

Key Deliverables:

- Delivery Alignment from Captive Centre to meet TEALs requirements.

- Periodic updates on the pipeline,



capacity and deliverables.

- Part deliveries aligning with the set quality standards.

- Lead time reduction through process establishment.

Preferred Candidate:

- BE Mechanical with 4 years exp / Diploma in Tool &
- Die / DME with 5-12 yrs exp.

- Proficiency in 3-axis CNC Milling Process, Knowledge on Surface Treatment &

- Heat Treatment is critical.

- Knowledge on CNC Programming will be an added advantage.

- Knowledge on other machining processes i.e. Grinding, Conventional Milling, WEDM, SEDM and Special Process

- Estimation and Costing in machining processes

- 2 Drawings Interpretation and knowledge on GD&T; &

- Inspection

- Proficiency in Data Management using Excel, Word &

- PPTs

- Willing to travel extensively

- Team player, ability to learn quickly

- Positive Communication skills

- Hands on experience in VMC/ CNC machining will be an advantage

- Multi linguistic skills (Kannada, Tamil) will be an advantage

- Ability to work on challenging and time bound assignments.
