Key Responsibilities

Project Phase

Industrialization & Facility Setup

- Support transfer of composite manufacturing processes from existing facilities.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Manufacturing routings, Process specifications, SOPs and work instructions
- Define manufacturing methods and production flows for new products.
- Participate in the specification, installation, commissioning, and qualification of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
- Support facility readiness activities and production area setup.
- Establish production capacities, labour standards, & manufacturing requirements.
- Support process qualification activities in accordance with requirements
- Work closely with Operations and Quality teams during facility qualification phases.

Product Industrialization

- Lead industrialization of transferred and new aerospace products
- Develop manufacturing plans, tooling concepts, and process flows
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and production readiness reviews
- Participate in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities with engineering teams.
- Ensure manufacturing processes are robust, repeatable, and capable prior to production launch.

Series Production Phase

Manufacturing Engineering Support

- Provide day-to-day technical support to production operations.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage engineering changes and ensure controlled deployment of modifications.
- Maintain manufacturing documentation and process standards.
- Support capacity planning and production ramp-up activities.

Composite Manufacturing Processes

- Develop and optimize processes related to composite parts manufacturing
- Support introduction of new materials,



tooling concepts, and manufacturing technologies.
- Monitor and improve process capability and process stability.

Continuous Improvement

- Drive shop-floor process improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Improve productivity, yield, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Reduce scrap, rework, and cycle times.
- Participate in root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Establish best practices and standard work methods.

Equipment & Tooling

- Support management and improvement of manufacturing tooling and production equipment.
- Define tooling requirements for new products and process improvements.
- Work with Maintenance teams to improve equipment availability and performance.
- Support future investments in manufacturing technologies and capabilities.

Team Development & Collaboration

- Build and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team in line with business growth.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Programs
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Profile Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrialization roles.
- Mandatory experience in the Aerospace industry.
- Strong experience in composite materials manufacturing.
- Experience in product industrialization and manufacturing process development.
- Experience supporting production ramp-up, process qualification & technology transfer.
- Experience in new facility startup setting would be a strong advantage.
