Role As the Manufacturing Quality Line In-charge Weld Shop, you will be part of the Manufacturing Quality Team and will report to the Section Head.

Your role will be: Ensuring product quality of components as per desired standards & specification, to deliver defect-free components to the next customer by establishing a zero defect condition & evaluating process parameters through audits.

A purpose-driven role for you Your key Roles and Responsibilities are mentioned below:

1. Planning and management of 10-15 workmen and 2 supervisors in the weld shop & Weld Dol (Incoming parts) on a shift basis.
2. Process Improvement by analyzing the issues to enhance Quality/Productivity/Safety/Rejection Cost.
3. Administrative control of team, Manpower Management, Manpower Training, Skill Upgradation.
4. Quality Target Achievement (St. pass, CTQ Rework monitoring, Rejection Monitoring/Control).
5. Hands-on Experience on Line Data management (St. Pass, CTQ Rework monitoring, Rejection Monitoring/Control).
6. Responsibility for Destructive Testing and Product Testing Plan vs Actual in Weld Shop.
7. Direct and indirect consumables consumption optimization if Process/Product parameters optimized.
8. Excess parts moderation & inventory control and monitoring. Production & Quality Target Achievement & Loss Recovery.
9. Knowledge of BOM, procurement system & Production planning and control.
10. To Participate in TEI Activities like SIT, CFT.

Academic Qualification & Experience B.Tech/Diploma with work experience >3 years

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Good knowledge of Basic Quality Tools Like PFMEA, PFD, 5 Why Analysis & Problem solving techniques.
2. In-depth Knowledge of Resistance Spot, Projection, Seam welding process/parameter control.
3. In-depth Knowledge of MIG Welding process - Robotic/Manual and Brazing - Robotic/Manual Process.
4. In-depth Knowledge & Hands-on Experience of Robot teaching/programming.
5. Basic Knowledge in CMM process & report verification.
6. ECN parts monitoring, Stock correction after ECN implementation.
7. Knowledge of body accuracy analysis and body fit and finish of Welded component.
