We are seeking an analytical and strategic Materials Planning Manager to oversee our end-to-end material planning and inventory control processes. You will lead a team of specialists to sync supplier deliveries with our master production schedule (MPS) to eliminate manufacturing downtime.
Roles and Responsibilities
- MRP Systems: Run and validate Material Requirements Planning software parameters to generate accurate purchase requisitions.
- Inventory Optimization: Set and maintain safety stock levels to minimize excess and obsolete (E&O;) inventory.
- Production Continuity: Track Bills of Materials (BOM) alongside sales demands to guarantee zero stock-outs on the line.
- Supplier Collaboration: Share rolling material forecasts with vendors to secure critical material lead times.
