Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on UI/UX Designer with a robust foundation in interaction design and design systems. You will lead design execution for specific platform agenda, collaborating closely with product managers and developers to deliver seamless and intuitive experiences. The role will also leverage AI-enabled design tools and AIDLC practices to improve speed, quality, and collaboration.

This role requires strong project-level ownership and coordination skills to manage design outcomes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Design Execution

- Own the creation of design deliverables including wireframes, journey maps, user flows, prototypes, and visual mockups.
- Follow structured design thinking and user-centered design approaches.
- Ensure accessibility, visual consistency, and responsive design standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with product managers, developers, and QA to ensure implementation quality.
- Participate in sprint planning, feature reviews, and testing discussions.
- Ensure the final user experience aligns with design intent and usability goals.

Work Management Tools

- Manage design tasks and timelines using JIRA or equivalent project management tools.
- Use MIRO and whiteboarding tools for ideation and visual planning.

- Maintain documentation of design flows, component specs, and use cases.
- Prepare case studies of high-impact design projects to share with senior leadership and cross-functional forums.

- Support internal storytelling of design value through well-documented examples of work.
- AI-Enabled Design AIDLC
- Use AI-enabled design and prototyping tools such as Figma Make, Claude Design, and other relevant generative AI tools to accelerate ideation, exploration, prototyping, and design documentation.

- Apply AIDLC (AI-Driven Development Life Cycle) practices across discovery, design, prototyping, design-to-development handoff, validation,



and iterative improvement, while ensuring human oversight and design quality.

- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive design activities, improve delivery efficiency, and responsibly integrate AI-generated outputs into product workflows.

Required Skills Qualifications

- Mindset : Detail-oriented, structured in execution and able to manage self-driven projects with accountability.
- Design Techniques : Journey mapping, user flows, information architecture, wireframing and interactive prototyping.

- Development Awareness : Understanding of front-end development concepts is a plus and helps improve collaboration with engineering teams.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on UI/UX design experience, preferably in product-led environments.

- Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Figma Make/Claude Design, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant AI-assisted design and prototyping tools.
- Collaboration: Miro, Whiteboarding tools, JIRA etc

- AI AIDLC Skills: Working knowledge of prompt engineering, AI-assisted design workflows, rapid prototyping, design validation, and the application of AIDLC principles in cross-functional product delivery.

- Storytelling: Ability to convey ideas and concepts through compelling storytelling.

Preferred

- Experience in insurance, fintech, or BFSI domains is a plus.

- Understanding of accessibility best practices , responsive design and scalable design systems.
- Hands-on experience using generative AI tools to accelerate UX research synthesis, content exploration, interface generation, prototyping, usability validation, or design-to-code collaboration.

- Portfolio: An online portfolio showcasing Interface and visual design skills.
