We are recruiting for a Manager in the Audit team. Working as a Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:
Lead a team of graduates and qualified Executives, Seniors and AMs working on audits for the onshore.
Managing international clients and leading the audits.
Act as main point of contact for onshore departments. Build strong relationships with onshore department champions/other key contacts in the onshore.
Work with the senior management and key onshore contacts to develop business and grow the team.
Make regular contact with onshore to ensure staff are booked to audits and utilized effectively and take feedback on quality of work delivered.
Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from onshore.
Demonstrate innovative mindset through use of various audit tools in order to deliver effective and effective audits.
Work with the senior management and key onshore contacts contributing to the overall business growth.
Actively participate in team development activities like delivering technical training sessions, acting as the performance manager, mentoring the junior team members to support building most competent audit teams.
Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of staff members.
Coach AMs and TLs on performing reviews and developing their staff
Motivate and develop AMs and TLs to become effective leaders
Qualifications
Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA) from recognized accounting body
5 plus year experience with a Big 4 in a client facing environment working with corporate and/or international clients.
Experience in the Treasury Sector is a must.
- Providing specialist support to external audit teams, including derivative valuations, hedge accounting, and financial instrument classifications
- Conducting risk management assessments including foreign exchange, interest rate, credit and commodities
- Support the analysts working on onshore projects for the UK Accounting Advisory Services Team (AAS)
- Work with UK AAS to deliver technical accounting responses to audit and client teams.
- Assist with delivering Treasury advisory projects ranging from target operating models, policy, and process reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, thought leadership collateral and marketing material.
- Conducting internal audits on treasury functions ranging from FTSE100 to Housing Associations and Charities, including benchmarking.
