Role Definition

Serves as subject matter expert for all tooling types; Serves as technical resource for maintenance and repair of tools while ensuring safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

- Supporting the team in implementing robust solutions to improve overall efficiency, yield, and uptime of the equipment.
- Complying with safety, health, and environmental guidelines and participating in continuous improvement of the procedures related to mold design and tooling procurement.
- Developing process and supervising inspection of tooling and mold repair to identify problems and potential solutions, and performing appropriate troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Driving continuous improvement for work orders, spare parts, and tooling parts consumption, and scheduled procedures using Computerized Management Tooling System.

- Degree Requirement: Degree or equivalent experience desired

- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
