Everything AIMTREX builds depends on material reaching the right place at the right time steel and components into the Noida factory, finished systems and installation material out to Army and police sites from Kashmir to the North East.

Today that runs on relationships and follow-up. We want it to run on a system. Candidate will own procurement, stores and inventory, dispatch and logistics across the factory and every project site, lead the Purchase and Logistics teams, and build the SOPs, vendor database and MIS that make the function repeatable without you standing over it.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procurement: Lead the purchase team on sourcing for multiple defence and infrastructure projects. Negotiate on price, delivery, and quality togethernot price alone.
- Vendor Development: Build vendor qualification, rating, and performance frameworks. Develop alternate sources so that no single vendor can hold a project to ransom.
- Stores and Inventory: Maintain optimal stock levels at the factory and sites. Manage demand forecasting and reorder levels, ensuring inventory accuracy through ERP and periodic physical verification.
- Dispatch and Logistics: Plan and track dispatch to multiple sites, appoint and manage transporters, and ensure material reaches the site before the installation team does.
- Imports and Long-Lead Items: Plan long-lead electronic components and imported equipment backwards from project milestones.
- Systems and SOPs: Standardise SCM processes and documentation; consolidate procurement status, vendor data, and site deliveries onto a single dashboard.
- Compliance and MIS: Ensure GST, TDS,



and transport documentation are clean on every transaction. Deliver weekly MIS on procurement, inventory, and logistics KPIs to leadership.

Desired Profile:

- Education: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical or Industrial) or a graduate with a supply chain background. An MBA/PGDM in Operations or SCM is preferred.
- Experience: 10-15 years in procurement, logistics, and supply chain, preferably within the defence, EPC, or heavy manufacturing sectors.
- Logistics Skills: Proven experience handling multi-site dispatch, not just factory purchase. Site logistics experience to remote and restricted locations is a major plus.
- Technical & Process Skills: Robust proficiency in ERP, inventory control, and material planning. Must be comfortable writing an SOP from a blank page.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP / CPIM or ISM CPSM are an advantage, but not a strict requirement.
- Core Attribute: A negotiator who also builds systems. We need both. Most candidates have only onetell us honestly which is your stronger side.
