Job overview The Data Operations leader will be responsible for strengthening the data-management capabilities and ensuring that SFDC is accurate, complete, consistent, governed, and fit for purpose. The role will lead data quality, governance, process improvement, and automation initiatives while managing and developing the Data Operations team.

The individual will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Technology, Analyst, and other business teams to establish scalable processes, improve data accessibility, and support reliable decision-making. The role will also identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve data quality, efficiency, and operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Define and execute the Data Operations strategy and roadmap
- Establish organization-wide data governance, ownership, standards, and controls
- Oversee CRM data quality, master data, enrichment, and lifecycle management
- Develop scalable processes and introduce automation and AI-enabled solutions
- Monitor operational performance, risks, capacity, and service delivery.
- Collaborate and influence across Sales, Marketing, Technology, RevOps and Analyst teams
- Lead technology, vendor, and transformation initiatives related to data operations
- Manage, develop, and realign the team as the operating model evolves




- Present performance, risks, resource needs, and investment recommendations to senior leadership

Skills

Data management and governance

- Strong understanding of data-quality dimensions: accuracy, completeness, consistency, validity, uniqueness and timeliness
- Data governance, ownership, standards, and controls
- Master and reference data management
- Data cleansing, enrichment, standardization, validation, and deduplication
- Root-cause analysis and data-quality remediation
- Systems, analytics, and AIStrong working knowledge of Salesforce
- Understanding of Salesforce objects, relationships, integrations, and record lifecycle
- Experience with data-management and enrichment tools
- Strong analytical capabilities, including SQL, Excel, reports, and dashboards
- Knowledge of AI applications in data management and business operations
- Experience using AI-enabled tools for data matching, cleansing, enrichment, classification, validation, or automation
- Understanding of responsible AI, including privacy, accuracy, bias, security, governance, and human oversight

- Designing scalable operating procedures (process mapping, automations, exception management, reports/dashboards, etc.)
- Quality assurance and operational controls
- Defining SLAs, turnaround times and escalation rules

Education & experience

- Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in data operations, data management, Salesforce, business operations, analytics, or a related function.
- Strong hands-on or functional experience with Salesforce, SQL, Excel, reporting tools, and data-management or enrichment platforms.
- Prior experience managing a team
