We are seeking a highly experienced in Tariff & Regulatory Functional Consultant cum Power Sector Expert to take care of regulatory and tariff-related consultancy assignments. The role involves end-to-end management of tariff filings, regulatory advisory, financial planning, and stakeholder coordination with utilities and regulatory commissions.
B. Detailed expectations from the role:
- Lead consultancy assignments related to tariff determination, regulatory compliance, and policy advisory.
- Oversee preparation and filing of Multi-Year Tariff (MYT), True-up, and project tariff petitions before regulatory commissions.
- Provide strategic inputs on regulatory frameworks, tariff regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with SERC/CERC, utilities, and other stakeholders for regulatory approvals and submissions.
- Support preparation of regulatory documentation, petitions, and responses to queries.
- Ensure compliance with technical, commercial, and regulatory policies across projects
- Lead internal teams and ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and effective coordination.
C. Required skill set
- Experience in the Power with expertise in Tariff & Regulatory matters
- Experience in drafting of petitions for Generating companies in accordance with the SERC/CERC Regulations
D. Education and Experience Atleast 7 years of experience in the power sector including, including expertise in Tariff and Regulatory matters with 5+ years on site experience in retainership projects in the power sector.
B.E./B.Tech with MBA/ PGDM/ PGDBM (equivalent to MBA) (with Finance electives/Finance specialization) from a recognize Institute/ University OR Chartered Accountant (CA).
E. Location
- Base location shall be Jabalpur. However, the role would require the applicant to undertake travel for pursuing various opportunities.
