Position: Manager - Revenue Recognition

Experience: 5-7 years (Post-qualification)

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

Key Responsibilities

- Independently ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 (or IFRS 15, depending on entity)
- Review customer contracts to identify performance obligations, transaction price allocation, and timing of revenue recognition
- Handle complex revenue scenarios: multi-element arrangements, variable consideration, contract modifications, bundled contracts, and principal vs. agent assessments
- Own end-to-end month-end/quarter-end close activities related to revenue - journal entries, accruals, deferred revenue schedules, and reconciliations
- Partner with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk teams to review new contracts/deal structures for revenue impact before signing
- Independently support internal and statutory auditors with revenue-related audit queries, schedules, and documentation
- Maintain and improve revenue recognition policies, SOPs, and internal controls (SOX/ICFR, if applicable)




- Drive automation/process improvement initiatives for revenue accounting
- Prepare revenue-related disclosures for financial statements and support management reporting/MIS
- Act as the go-to subject matter expert on revenue accounting for the organization
