Production Operations

- Execute shift production plans as per daily targets.
- Ensure smooth running of Continuous Dyeing Range and related equipment.
- Monitor machine performance, productivity, and process parameters.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Ensure timely completion of production schedules.

Process & Quality Control

- Monitor dyeing parameters such as temperature, pH, pickup %, speed, and chemical dosing.
- Ensure shade consistency and adherence to customer quality standards.
- Identify and resolve quality issues such as shade variation, uneven dyeing, stains, and streaks.
- Coordinate with Lab and Quality teams for process corrections and approvals.

Manpower Management

- Supervise operators, helpers, and technicians during the shift.
- Allocate manpower based on production requirements.
- Ensure attendance, discipline, and effective shift handover.
- Train and guide shopfloor employees on process and safety practices.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to EHS standards and company safety policies.
- Monitor PPE compliance and protected machine operation.
- Report and investigate safety incidents or near misses.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the department.

Continuous Improvement

- Drive initiatives for productivity, quality, and cost improvement.
- Monitor consumption of dyes, chemicals, steam, water, and utilities.
- Reduce reprocessing, wastage, and process losses.
- Support Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing activities.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain shift production reports and machine logbooks.
- Record quality observations and process deviations.




- Prepare shift-wise productivity and efficiency reports.
- Ensure proper communication during shift handovers.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Textile Technology, Textile Processing, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience

- 4 to 8 years of experience in Continuous Dyeing operations within a textile processing industry.
- Experience in woven fabric dyeing and finishing operations preferred.
- Exposure to production, quality, and manpower management in shift operations.

Technical Skills

- Knowledge of Continuous Dyeing Range operations.
- Understanding of dyes, chemicals, auxiliaries, and fabric processing.
- Knowledge of shade control and quality improvement techniques.
- Familiarity with productivity and efficiency monitoring.
- Basic computer knowledge and ERP/SAP exposure.
