Manager IT

Job Type: Contract

Location: Hyderabad, India; Vizianagaram, India

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure individual and team success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Monitor and report on IT performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT management, with a strong background in system administration and software development.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing IT teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.

Technical Skills & Experience:

- Proficient in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, including MySQL and Oracle.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow or BMC Helix.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA or MS in Computer Science.
- ITIL certification.
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Robust understanding of networking protocols and architecture.
